When this lease applies
Under the current Polish Tenant Protection Act, a residential occasional lease is made in writing for a fixed term of up to 10 years. The landlord is a natural person who does not conduct a business of renting premises.

The lease, a notarial submission-to-enforcement statement under Article 777 § 1 pkt 4 KPC, identification of another dwelling, and consent from a person with legal title to that dwelling. The exact set depends on the contract and circumstances.
This notarial statement may streamline the landlord's route to enforcement after the lease ends. It does not remove statutory grounds, formal steps or document review, and it does not guarantee the outcome of a dispute.
If you do not know enough Polish for the notarial act, translation is required under Article 2 § 3 of the Polish Notary Law. The notary may translate personally only when qualified as required by that provision; otherwise a sworn interpreter participates.

I coordinate the appointment. If the tenant’s Polish is insufficient, translation is required: it is provided by a notary qualified under Article 2 § 3 of the Polish Notary Law or by a sworn interpreter. The notary independently decides whether the act can proceed.
We review the notarial statement, another dwelling and its consent document, and the lease as one file before delivery to the landlord.
